The team here at TUFF (The Unity of Faiths Foundation) and our partners, Liverpool City Council, The Cavern Club, Liverpool Live Radio, LIPA, Culture Liverpool, Strawberry Fields, Gigmit, The Knoydart Retreat and Legendary Audio would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of our 1,539 participants for entering this years song contest; we have had to make some incredibly difficult decisions.
This year the song contest was launched in memory of John Lennon, in what would’ve been his 80th year, and also to celebrate over 50 years since the launch of ‘Imagine’. Our aim is to find a new song that inspires a message of hope, unity and kindness, with the judging critera being:
Message of Hope & Kindness, Originality, Lyrics, Melody & Composition
If you did not make this year’s final 50, we will be running the Official Liverpool International Song Contest again next year, 2022.
